Benzene or C6H6 is an organic chemical compound. C6H6 is a colorless and highly flammable liquid with a sweet smell.  Benzene is a gasoline and is also an important solvent of medical drugs, plastics, synthetic rubber, and dyes. It is also a natural oil and may be broken down from other compounds present in petroleum.
